Oh Snap

Okay so weekends totally don't count for blogging!! Or Mondays apparently....
ANYWAYS this past Saturday Tim and I went to San Diego for the day. Grandma offered to watch Leah so we took advantage of the opportunity to get out of town for the day and see the ocean. We went to the beach, took a nice scenic drive, and then went on a whale watching expedition! It was pretty cool, we saw about 5 or 6 California Gray Whales (migrating to Mexico) and a bunch of dolphins and sea lions. It was nice to get away for the day but we wished we had Leah with us and talked about her all day! I guess you don't realize how much of a homebody you are until you have something to stay home for!

The rest of the weekend went by pretty quickly. Last night I tried something new and made homemade potato soup in the crockpot! It was a hit! See, I'm becomming more and more domesticated by the day!! Now... what's for lunch???
